Story of Cysro

800 Years Ago

The Saltren used to be a Native Tribe who befriended the first Shifter, Cysro Xerque. He proposed to them a deal: If the Natives of the Saltren Tribe would take over the land and claim it under his name, they would gain a great power.

They agreed.

The land was taken over, colonized, populated and dominated by the Saltren and for years, the land went under the name Cysro and served under the Saltren and their emperor-chief.
In turn, the high ranks of the Saltren's Tribe were bitten, and became Shifters, a grand gift, but a curse nonetheless.

300 Years Later

The empire fell as other tribes, Humans, began to run out and Shifters became a surplus. They soon found themselves becoming cannibals after Cysro's surplus of Shifters hunted down nearly all the prey.

As the empire fell, the Shifters became wild and unorganized, polluting and cursing outside their own tribe. The Saltren had nearly lost control until Cysro Xerque stepped forth and announced that the empire would split up. Thus, the inhabitants of Cysro were organized into five main groups. Or "Packs."

The Saltren, whom had by now lost their control but were respected amongst the other Tribes, and used more often as Xerque's trusted staff.
The Akastran, the pack that was given control over the more Mountainous lands of Cysro.
The Astran, with sick souls, were sent far away into the rigid, swampy areas of Cysro under the condition that their blood be balanced- that the Astran's Alpha always be born a brother to the Akastran's Alpha and the son of a shared mother.
The Sukri, who's beliefs followed the banishment of the Shifters and their "demonic" presence, were given the abundant forestry of the South-West, though were called undeserving of it.
The Runedar, with their fair ways, who were given control over the sandy, desert areas- who deserved much more but were given so little, and so became the humble and self-supporting creatures they are now.

The land remained mostly Wild, and the packs and people began to settle in peace.

400 Years later

The Sukri had adapted to life with the Shifters, but did not quite approve of the idea- thus developing a distrust for the Saltren. While the Akastran and the Astran packs maintained the law of brotherhood and kept their alliance. The Runedar and the Saltren briefly intermixed to create a United force of both wolf and shifter within the Runedar, though maintained shifter-code within the Saltren.

The few people of Cysro were sheltered in a village in the center of the land, and they began to repopulate their species, quickly creating a growth in development.

Slowly, the Shifters were forgotten, and Cysro Xerque took this as an advantage to hide the kind he created, and thus avoid war through the peaceful lands.

As the Shifters hid, the Wolves followed their lead, and in turn, the prey returned with higher numbers than before. As peace reigned through the land, Cysro Xerque died with the longest recorded lifetime of a Shifter.

100 Years Later

Upon the death of Xerque, the fall of the Cysrin Empire, and the birth of the five packs, the people began to update their lifestyles.
Modern tools replaced rock and wood,
Houses replaced teepee's,
Schools replaced ancestral-learning,
Money replaced the trading of goods,
Modern medicine replaced herbs and faith,
Technology replaced man-power,

Cysro went through an entire evolution.
