Appearance: A very fine young woman, and it’s easy to see why it’s so easy for her to get her way, especially with men. She knows how to flaunt her stuff. Her dark hair falls just fast her shoulder blades, and she usually wears it with just enough poof at the top. Delanii also knows her way around the makeup department – her eyes are always very extravagant, with liners, shadows, and mascara. However, with her fair skin, she rarely needs foundation or blush, and besides her eyes she’s mostly natural.
Delanii’s wardrobe usually consists of very flirty, eye-catching clothing and tons of jewelry – necklaces, bands, earrings, you name it.
Markings: Delanii has gotten several piercings, but she doesn’t wear them all.

Personality: Delanii has very many emotional issues, but she locks them all up for the sake of living wealthy. She’s very vain and selfish, not to mention spoiled to the core, but she does have a heart – and a rather fragile one at that. She acts tough and hardened, but she’s quite prone to depressions and hates to be left alone because as soon as it’s quiet, thoughts of her past pop up. Thus, Delanii is a party girl; she’s always out.

Delanii was a surprise baby. Her parents, at the time, weren’t certain that they would be together forever, so they had great difficulty deciding whether or not to keep her. They raised her for two years before their consciences really beat them down. They were living in horrible debt and poverty, and simply couldn’t give Delanii the basics for a good life. So, before child services did it for them, they put Delanii up for adoption. She was adopted soon after, and raised by very loving parents. They were a new, young couple who were not extremely wealthy, but definitely had expensive lifestyles. They lived in a high-maintenance suite with room service tending to them and bought Delanii almost everything she wanted. So, naturally, she became rather spoiled, but not at all mean. She was an extremely sweet girl with good marks and lots of friends. But then the marital issues started when she was going into grade seven. It turned out that the couple started off too soon and were just now realizing that they were just not right for each other. By grade eight, Delanii’s adoptive parents divorced after her father got into an affair with another woman, and she was sent to live with her adoptive mother’s brother. She refused to call him uncle, but rather called him by his first name, Jackson. He was very wealthy, and not very strict – but very, very loving.
Ironically, Delanii had a huge crush on Jackson since she first met him, so the awkwardness was inevitable. Not to mention, Delanii was learning to become very flirtatious and had almost all the boys she knew wrapped around her fingers.
Her first year into high school, she had well gotten over her childhood crush for Jackson and had settled on a boyfriend from school. She was as star struck for him as he was for her.
But over the summer, Jackson had found himself a pretty girl, and had proposed to her. The girl came to live with them, along with her son – who happened to go to school with Delanii. He was a complete jerk, and Delanii hated him. And one night while she was asleep, she had awoke to him in her room, putting his hand over her mouth. Alarmed, she struggled to get up but he held her down. She was filled with fear, feeling exposed and afraid in her undergarments. He was trying to get her underwear off when she managed to rip one hand free from his grasp and she slapped his face, her long nails leaving marks. Startled, his grip loosened and Delanii stumbled out of her room screaming.
The boy was arrested and charged, but Delanii could care less. She couldn’t stand to be in that house with the woman who accused her of lying about it when she had rushed to Delanii’s screams at Jackson’s side and seen for herself the situation. Delanii packed everything she needed and moved in with her boyfriend, Chad.
Delanii finished high school, still stuck in a romance with Chad, and the two moved out into their own place. The couple lived off of Chad’s medium-wage paychecks and the monthly money Jackson sent. Chad had been playing football for years, and was recognized for his expertise. He was accepted into a team and the payment soon brought Delanii and him into the Sirock Estates. With the great income, the two were living the good life, and Delanii had the liberty to free herself and go out partying.
Delanii then got pregnant. What seemed like a nightmare to her was a dream come true for Chad. Delanii was afraid not that she was going to have a baby with the man she loved, but she was afraid of what kind of mother she’d be. She wasn’t at all ready for kids and, after she, Chad and his parents, who Delanii had grown very close too, discussed it, they decided the couple was definitely not ready to be parents.
But Delanii made the decision to keep the baby and put it up for adoption so that a couple who was ready for children but couldn’t have one of their own finally would.
In the meantime, Delanii had also managed to finally track down her birthparents. But only her father, and she was shocked to find that she had three siblings. She contacted her father and the two met up and got talking. They both agreed not to tell Delanii’s siblings who she was and her relation to them.
Chad and Delanii had also found a good couple to adopt their baby, but just days before the baby’s birth, the adoptive couple resigned. They said they weren’t ready after all, and Delanii almost died inside at the thought that she would be stuck with the child.
However, her father stepped in and saved her from the misery. He offered to take the child and he did. He told his other kids that he adopted her from the orphanage, no questions asked, and so Rosalinda was accepted into the family.
And Delanii and Chad went on with their lives… to the point of which Chad proposed to her. The two became fiancés, but the wedding remained pending until the two were sure of where they wanted their future to go.
Delanii’s contact with her father faded some, and she resumed her partying, rich lifestyle with her fiancé.
Other: I might make Chad an actual character, but I’m not so sure that I want to roleplay him. Unless someone’s willing to play him, he’ll probably remain an NPC.
