Obviously, this is a large issue that I felt needed to be addressed by not only the admins, but the community itself.
Personally, I believe we should make it so that Cysro is known by other countries but is a little publicity-shy. It rarely imports and exports or communicates with other countries, has no place or intention in war with the outside world. Simply a land in its own that kind of keeps to itself.
Now, I've made a poll with some options such as that above. However, if you have your own ideas, feel free to reply to this thread and state your own opinion on the matter.

I always thought of Cysro as being like a small town somewhere...It's known, but unknown at the same time. A country that's out there that people know of, but don't pay much attention to. a little place hidden somewhere in north america...but thats just me,

Okay, well I've been thinking a lot on it and, since Cysro's an island (unless that's been changed?) and, under my understanding, was the indigenous birth of Lycanthropy in our story, I thought that the shifters could be their connection to the outer world.
As I tend to go way over-board, I developed this big huge plot-line for it haha. I'm hoping have an adminly discussion about it, or something.
Anywoo, as I gotta go real soon, I'll just briefly summarize my idea.
Basically, Cysro was an undiscovered island still way back when the story starts. I don't really know how the Lycanthropy started, but I was thinking that Cysro Xerque dude guy recognized taht the disease was wreaking havoc on the indigenous people of Cysro, seperated the packs, yadda yadda, but all of the Shifters couldn't be contained within the small island... so they had to go somewhere.
Exploration was eventually established in the world and people from all over were exploring and such and it would only be a matter of time before Cysro and the surroundign islands were discovered. So to protect it, Cysro Xerque dude guy had to do something. So, in a very organized fashion, he took a hefty amount of Shifters and sailed off towards the known continents, leaving behind some very special burdens in Sukri territory (tehee..).
So I guess the Shifters spread out across the world, fitting in like average humans, causing the folk-tales we know today. They, by the modern-age, would have been like a massive secret organization, even after Cysro Xerque dude guy's passing, keeping touch with the Cysrin islands.
That's how I figured new cultures would find their way to Cysro. The Shifters, in order to keep the Cysrin islands secret, would have to make their way into the governments of practically every country, thus controlling who went where and how close they were to discovering Cysro. But now and then, an exploration ship would go unseen, and wind up on Cysro to colonize it. But as soon as the Shifters found out, the colonists would never leave the islands to report, so that's how I figured different cultures would be introduced.
As for imports, the Shifters could probably control that, more or less, as well, to be sure that the Cysrin islands had their monthly supply of cheesburgers and all that.
I dunno how cable works though.
Anyway that's just how I kind of imagined it, if that works haha. Still some loopholes to patch up but I'll work on it later.
Until then, ~Luna <3

Sorry, this is quite late. I believed I'd already posted this reply. xD.
Anyways, the publicity part is now a part of the Cysro Handbook. Thank you for your participation and ideas in coming to a decision. If you feel the situation was resolved poorly or if the written result is incorrect, feel free to PM me.
Always LOL'ing, ~Anita
